LATEST RELEASE: MARCH 28 2014 - AllEmu RetroArch 1.0.9.0
Play all of your favorite video game systems on iOS. Play video games from N64, GBA, PSX, NES, SNES, GENESIS, GAMEBOY, and more. Best of all, you don't even need to jailbreak!
Note: New instructions for installing.
How to install AllEmu's RetroArch:
1. First visit this page on the iOS device. Shortcut: http://is.gd/allemu
2. Click the install button on this page. The date must be current when tapping install. Accept any install message. The RetroArch app full of emulators will install on your phone as an icon. The icon will read "Loading" as the 42MB app is downloaded. It will take a few minutes to download and install.
3. Only once the install has begun and the icon reads an "Installing" status, you must temporarily rollback your iOS devices date to May 28th 2013. The date can be set in the Settings app on your iDevice in the "General" "Date and Time" section. Turn off "set time automatically" and it will let you manually set the May 28th 2013 date by scrolling the date picker back. Pay careful attention to rolling back the date of your iOS only once the install has started as it must be set to May 28th 2013 while it's in the "Installing" phase or later. Otherwise the app will not load until you set this date and run it once successfully. If you run into any issues, you can start over by simply deleting the half-installed app by tap-and-holding the icon and pressing its "x".
4. Once you run the app at least one time successfully with the manually set date, you can change your iOS device date back after you run the app successfully once.
Alternatively you can download the IPA by clicking here, change the date on your iOS Device to May 28th 2013, and drag the IPA to iTunes to sync to your iDevice.
To install ROMs, connect your iOS device to your computer and use iTunes to access your RetroArch app documents. Drag the ROMs and any BIOS files like PSX's scph1001.bin to this directory.
The HELP & HOW TO page here gives you tips on how to use AllEmu's RetroArch port.
